Olivia was born on June 3, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas to Felix and Concepcion (Valle) Ramirez and called home to be with her Lord on October 12, 2014. She attended J.T. Brackenridge Elementary, Lanier Middle School, and graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1953. She worked at Kelly AFB before marrying Jim Young in January 1960. They resided in Atlanta, Georgia for a short period of time and then relocated to San Antonio. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jim. She is survived by her children: Kathleen Franzoni (David): James P. Young and Rosemary Young: granddaughters: Caroline Nicole Young, Madison Brooke Young, and Sarah Concepcion Franzoni: brothers: Felix (Josie) and Vincente Ramirez (Sue): sisters: Velia Guerrero, Alice Reyes (Luis), Irene Walsh (Sean), and Concepcion Lepel (Bob), and numerous nephews and nieces. Olivia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched, and deeply devoted to her faith. She was an active member of St. Gregory's Parish and School, participating in the Choral and Spanish Choirs, serving as a Eucharistic minister, tutoring students, active in annual festivals, CYO, and in all other aspects of parish life for over forty years. She was employed at Lackland and Kelly AFB, the VA hospital medical library, secretary to the Provincial of the Holy Ghost Fathers, and operated her own business "Flowers by Olivia". Upon attending St. Dominic's church, she became a Eucharistic Minister and recently was introduced into the Catholic Daughters of America.
