Devoted Mother and Grandmother

Maria Monica Espinosa 62 died on Thursday September 8th, 2022.  Monica was born on October 15, 1959. She loved to read, sew, spend time with her grandchildren, and loved being outdoors.

She received a bachelor's degree in Biology and then spent 15 plus years of service working for the State of Texas as a cytotechnologist. She retired through the state and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved being outdoors and she adored her beloved chihuahua, Queenie.

She is survived by her children: David Veliz and Stephanie Doan; her grandchildren: Bane Doan, Lilliana De Leon, Jordis Doan, and Bella Doan; her siblings: Valerie Espinosa, Joseph Espinosa, Sylvia Van Mierlo, and James Espinosa and all of their families.
