Margarita C. Hodges' Obituary
Margarita C. Hodges, age 81, passed away with her family by her side Saturday, March 24, 2018. She was born on November 14, 1936 to Mathilde and Pola Cardenas in San Antonio,TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Hodges; son, Julio Puente and grandson, Jamie Puente. She is survived by her daughter, Yolanda Sanchez and son, Roger Puente.
Margarita was absolutely feisty, bold, honest, and fiercely independent. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; having Sunday dinners with her family, going to parties, shopping, and working on her yard. She was a strong and faithful servant showing compassion and kindness to everyone. She was a blessing to all those who crossed her path.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter-in-law, brother, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
