Margaret Kathleen Hicks, born in Gibsonville N.C. on Sept. 8th, 1927, passed away of natural causes on June 29th, 2022 in Lewiston, Idaho at the age of 94.

Margaret was a homemaker, mother of three and devoted military spouse who supported her husband's 30 year Air Force career. The family lived in several US states and also had the opportunity to live in Germany where they enjoyed many travels and adventures. Margaret was a woman of deep faith and had unconditional love for her family.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mintie Welch; husband Elton; sister Alene Abee; and brothers Winfred Welch, Arthur Welch and Pat Welch.  She is survived by her sisters Louise Somers, Jean Andrews, Shirley Gilliam; brother Carl Welch; her daughter Carla Jan (Mike) Vonlindern; sons Kevin (Rebecca) Hicks, and Keith Hicks; grandchildren Krissy (Shawn) Ellis, Jake Dennler, Jennifer Phenix, Brandon (Chelsea) Hicks; and great grandchildren Troy Ellis, Taylor Phenix, Hunter Phenix, Levi Hicks, and Penelope Hicks.

Memorial Service will be 2 pm, Friday, July 22 at The Angelus Funeral Home, 1119 N Saint Mary's, in San Antonio, Texas with private interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
