Mr. Marco A. Lopez age 63 of San Antonio passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014. Mr. Lopez attended St. Philip of Jesus Catholic School. He played CYO baseball and was a 1968 graduate of La Salle High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force then worked in Civil Service for 37 years. He began his career at Kelly AFB in San Antonio and ended his service at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma. Mr. Lopez was preceded in death by his father, Reynaldo Lopez; a daughter, Christina Lopez and a granddaughter, Azura Rodriguez. He is survived by his children: Maricella Lopez Cardoza, Joseph A. Lopez, Bianca Lopez; his mother, Enedina Lopez; brothers: Reynaldo A. Lopez, Carlos Lopez, Ricardo A. Lopez; grandchildren: Marissa, Nicholas, Christopher and Brandon Cardoza, Giana, Isabella and Michael Lopez. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 5:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be offered Thursday at 11:45 A.M. at St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
