San Antonio native, longtime local business owner, and 45+ year Spurs season ticket holder, Manuel Barbosa Prince, Sr., died on 1st July 2019, at his home, surrounded by his devoted children and his dear niece.

Born 12th September 1947, Manuel grew up among his many close cousins on the West side, attending Central Catholic High School and St. Mary's University, where he met lifelong friends.

Manuel was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Marie née Adams; parents, Valeriano Barbosa Prince Sr., and Flora Rosalie (Maria Angelina) Granato; and younger brother, Valeriano Jr.  He is survived by his children, Valerie, Anne-Marie, Colleen, and Manuel Jr.
