Manuel Elizondo, a long-time resident of San Antonio was called home to the Lord Wednesday the 19 ^th of January while at the Village of Incarnate Word. He was born October 7, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas.

Manuel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was happily married 55 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, socializing with friends, and dancing with his wife.  He loved telling a good joke, and spending hours sitting around the kitchen table talking with family.

Manuel was the proud owner of Eureka Sheet Metal a family business, founded in 1935, where he worked closely alongside his son, Manuel, and his many loyal employees.

He spent his entire life being a faithful servant to God, and he was an Honorable Papal Knight of St. Gregory the Great.

He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force as an encryption and communication specialist stationed in St. Lawrence, Alaska.

Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Elizondo, his mother, Dolores Elizondo, his sister, Josie Elizondo and brother, Roy Elizondo.

He is survived by his son Manuel J. Elizondo, his wife Laura Elizondo, daughter Elizabeth E. Jones, her husband Gregory Jones, and grandchildren, Manuel Ray Elizondo, Darren J. Elizondo.
