CMsgt (retired) Luis M Martinez-Estrada, a proud 30 year veteran of the USAF, passed away on February 12, 2025 after a prolonged illness.  Son of Medardo and Mercedes, Luis was born on October 3, 1936 in Camuy, Puerto Rico.  At age 18, Luis enlisted in the US Air Force and served in the Strategic Air Command, the Southern Command, and the Electronic Security Command.  Luis was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.  He lived a long and happy marriage of 57 years until the passing of his wife Lupe in 2019.

Luis is survived by his son Joseph, grandchildren Kelly and Jonathan, and great granddaughter Margot.

Luis was predeceased by wife Lupe, son Luis, and siblings Carmen, Gloria, Jose, Julian, and Toña.

Visitation will begin on Thursday March 13, at 4:00 P.M. with Rosary to be recited at 5:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, March 14, at 12:30 P.M at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.  Interment with full military honors will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
