Louise was born in Fredericksburg, Texas on June 12, 1925 to Jacob and Emilie Meurer and passed on July 6, 2018.  She was the last of nine children to enter the Lord's Kingdom at the age of 93.  Louise entered eternal rest in the same manor that she led her life, peacefully.

She enjoyed gardening, bowling, Bunco, Dominoes, cards, an occasional trip to the casinos, but most importantly her family.  Holidays and special events were her joy. She was a member of the Belgian American Club of Texas, an active member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and St. Rose of Lima Red Hatters.

Louise was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold DeHart Sr. and Oscar Verstuyft; stepdaughter, Suzanne Wildey, and grandson, Michael DeHart.  She is survived by sons, Richard (Judy) DeHart and Harold (Jo Ann) DeHart; stepson, Ronald (Lisa) Verstuyft; grandchildren, Rick (Lani), Natalie (Michael), Chris (Megan), Jeff (Tiffany), Greg (Andie) DeHart, Lauren (Jordan) DeHart Johnson, and Tiffany Wildey Carter; great grandchildren, BriAnna, Kieley, Rylen, Delaynie, Dane, Julianne, Ian, Avery, Piper, Levi, Reagan, Cheyenne DeHart, Summer and Belle Carter.
