Louisa Muñoz Travieso, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, entered eternal life April 5, 2025 at 90 years old.

Louisa ("Louie") was born on June 27, 1934 in Floresville, Texas, to Pedro and Trinidad Muñoz.  She is preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, husband of 69 years, Ernest Frank Travieso, and daughter, Debra.

She is survived by her children, Henrietta, Ernest A. (Lucille) Travieso, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Louisa graduated from St. Henry's Catholic School, where she met her husband. Together, they owned Travieso Grocery & Market on the Westside of San Antonio.

She loved to pack up the family's Winnebago for a road trip to the coast or Las Vegas. She also loved to be social; dancing and spending time with family and friends. She was outspoken, had a great sense of humor, and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 15, at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. at The Angelus Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday April 16, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Interment follows at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
