Librada (Libby) Shelton, born May 11, 1922 went to be with the Lord on August 23 at the age of 97.  She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Shelton and six of her seven siblings.  She along with her sister Rebecca owned and operated a beauty salon on South Alamo St. for over 40 years.

She is survived by her two daughters: Carolyn Diaz (husband Raymond); grandson, Allen Pelayo wife Meredith; great-grandchildren: Emmelyn, Quint and Parker; daughter, Kathy Catts (husband Cam); granddaughters: Lauren Catts and Lindsey Williams (husband Cody) and great-grandchildren: Hazel and Cy and her sister, Eva Shelton.  These along with her many nieces and nephews along with many dear friends will miss her deeply.
