Mr. Leo Lara Acosta age 90 of San Antonio, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Mr. Acosta proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Velia Guevara. He is survived by his wife, Velia Acosta; daughters: Rose M. Balderas and Diane Garza; sister, Dolores Sepulveda; grandchildren: Valerie, Cristina, Matthew and Mark. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 5:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be offered Thursday at 9:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
