Lazaro "Larry" Torres Garcia passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the age of 76.  Larry was born to Arturo Ramirez Garcia and Pola Torres Garcia in New Braunfels, Texas.

He was born into a musically talented family to include his father, uncles and brothers, in fact Larry's first stage performance was at the age of 11.  He retired from Alamo Cement Company after 34 years all the while performing on nights and weekends in various Tejano and conjunto bands.

Larry married Juanita Leal Gomez and together they had 5 children: Elvia, Yvonne, Lazaro Jr., Federico and Eloy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and daughter, Elvia.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Juanita; children: Yvonne, Lazaro Jr., Federico, and Eloy; brother, Eduardo Torres Garcia; grandchildren: Stephanie, Federico Jr., Steven Edward, Ashley, Crystal, Samuel, Jesse, Abraham and Eric; great-grandson, his "Golden Boy" Steven Edward.
