Obituary

Our beloved mother, daughter and sister, Lauren Lynn Mogas, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ, at the age of 44, and is now at peace in the warmth and light of her Savior.

Born on April 8, 1977, Lauren was the loving mother to daughter Miranda Lin Rodriguez, from her first marriage to Gabriel Rodriguez, daughter Alexa Celeste Beza, son Anthony Christian Beza and daughter Marissa Camille Beza, from her common law marriage to Albert Beza.

Lauren grew up in the loving home of mother Lin, brother Jason and sister Edna Elizabeth.  It was a home her architect father designed and built.  She attended Thousand Oaks Elementary, Bradley Middle School and Incarnate Word High School.  She practiced the Susuki violin and became friends with her instructor.  She loved playing soccer and running in the park across the street.  She traveled to New Mexico with her parents more than once and loved her mother's family in Boerne, Texas.  Lauren was someone who could find the ability to smile in the midst of chaos and uncertainty.  She had a way of holding onto hope and what the future could bring.  She will forever be remembered and loved by all that knew and loved her.

In addition to her children, she is survived by her mother Lin Bickley Walton and husband Gary, her father Richard Mogas and wife Michele, brother Jason Mogas, sister Edna McNulty and husband Michael, aunts Mary Jo Patz, Joyce Thornton and Marcy Doughty (deceased), Paula Jefferson and husband Thomas, Franny Bickley (deceased), uncles: Louis Mogas and Roque Mogas (deceased), and many cousins, friends and all who knew and loved her.

We treasure her life and spirit and Lauren will be forever be in our hearts.
