La Blanche Alma Partain born July 13, 1930 died peacefully on March 13, 2018.  Born to Alma Rose Childress-Guerra and Robert Eugene Guerra of San Antonio.

Blanche grew up learning and loving tap dance, music, classic movies, and showtunes.

Beginning in 1978 Blanche worked at CPS growing and advancing with the people and job she loved very much until her retirement in 2014 at the tender age of 84 years!  Her many deep and happy friendships she made at CPS were truly rewarding.  Family and friends will truly miss Blanche for a long time to come!

Married to the late Harold L. Partain for 32 years, they had a daughter, Yvette Partain Eagle (James) (who preceded her in death March 12, 2015) and son, Leldon L. Partain (Susan).

Blanche is survived by six grandchildren:  Heather Brown (Cory), Shauna Steinmetz (Michael), James C. Eagle, II (Samantha), Neil Partain (Gina), Rebecca Partain, and Emily Freeborn (Kyle), and twelve beautiful great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Visitation will begin Friday, March 16th at 9:00 A.M. in The Angelus Chapel
with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 A.M. followed by a
graveside service at San Fernando Cemetery No.3.
