Kevin Jay Williams
December 20, 1951–October 2, 2026
It is with sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Kevin Jay Williams, 74, of Pipe Creek, on October 2, 2026. Kevin passed away in his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was a remarkable man who touched the lives of many. He is survived by Lorraine, his devoted wife of 37 years; his children, Michelle, Shawn, Jordan (Marissa), and Zachary; and his grandson, Grant Stewart.
Kevin served in the U.S. Army as a medic and, following his discharge, became a registered nurse. He worked in the operating room at Methodist Hospital for 46 years.
Kevin embraced life with enthusiasm, approaching every adventure and challenge with an open heart. He encouraged his family and friends to join him, always adding his favorite line: "You're going to have fun, whether you want to or not." He was right every time.
His quiet yet vibrant personality lit up every room, often accompanied by a quick-witted comment and an unforgettable presence on the dance floor. Whether climbing a boulder, skiing down a mountain, running a marathon, or creating magical sets for his child's school plays, Kevin was a man of many passions and talents.
He was a dedicated father and husband, serving as a pillar of support for each member of his family. His kindness and generosity extended far beyond his family, as he never turned his back on a friend in need. The lessons he imparted through his actions—mentoring, leading, and giving—will forever echo in the hearts of his children and everyone fortunate enough to have had him in their lives.
Kevin was an explorer, a lover of life, and a truly great man whose memory will live on in our hearts. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will never be forgotten.
