Julia T. Wilkerson, age 89, died peacefully at home on July 7, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents Maria and Frank Torres, her husband Bill Wilkerson, her sisters Pauline Guerrero and Alice Hurley, her brother Raymond Torres, and her daughter Lydia Lopez.

She is survived by her daughters Cindy Minica and Lisa Lopez along with their spouses; 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sister Virginia Hernandez, and many nieces and nephews.

Sewing was a creative outlet for her and she learned to sew at an early age which ended with her owning her own business, Fabrics Unlimited.

She came to running at a late age, but didn't let that stop her from excelling at it.  She was a member of the San Antonio Roadrunners. She did her best to help any animal that came into her path and took immense pleasure in having a yard of flowers.  She made the world a nicer place to be and will be missed terribly by those that loved her.

FUNERAL SERVICES

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 11 from 3pm -4pm at the Angelus Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, July 12, at 9:30 A.M.

at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
