Joyce Adell Ullman passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the age of 95.  Joyce was married to Edgar Ullman in 1942, before he left for WWII.  They were married for 60 years until Edgar passed away in 2002.  As big Dallas Cowboys fans, they watched almost every game together.  After the children left home, Joyce was very proud that she went back to school for 2 years at San Antonio College.

Joyce loved her piano and enjoyed playing and singing her favorite songs during family gatherings.  She volunteered her time to play and entertain seniors in several retirement facilities.  Also, she did volunteer work at Santa Rosa Hospital for several years.  Devotion to her family and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, were most important to her.

Our mother, Joyce, will truly be missed but we know she is at peace in heaven and will live forever in our hearts.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Ullman; mother, Adella E. Steubing; father, Louis Ernst; brothers:  John Ernst and Norman Ernst.  She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law:  Karen and Mel Kowalik, Sandra and Mark Van Overborg; her son, Mark Ullman; grandchildren:  Brenda, Brittny, Derek, Gary, Shelly, Chris and Lacy; great-grandchildren: Baileigh, Payton, Barron, Sterling, Megan, Ethan, Camden and Brendon.

Rosary to be recited at 9:45am

Funeral Mass to be offered at 10:00am

Reception will follow before

Graveside Service at 1:30 pm

Holy Cross Cemetery

17501 Nacogdoches Rd.

There will not be a procession to the cemetery.
