Josephine M. Tucker, born 23 January 1917 in Weid, Texas passed peacefully on 5 March 2021 at the Village of the Incarnate Word.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Catherine Kubena; brother, Vaslav M. Kubena; sisters, Elizabeth Henrie and Marion Neal; husband, Willis E. Tucker CWO4 and son, Joseph M. Tucker.  She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn L. Tucker and son Willis E. Tucker (Staley Rose); grandson, Kristopher S. Tucker (Jennifer); great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Mila and Brogan; ex-daughter in law, Jan Wilson (Robert); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A special thank you to all of her care givers at VIW where she lived for the past 8 years.

Her family and friends enjoyed her loyalty and quick wit, gentle manner, ready smile.  She loved sewing, painting pictures, traveling, fishing, and doing craft shows in San Antonio and Jersey Village.

Mama was born during the pandemic of WWI and died during the pandemic of 2020-2021, 104 years later.

Memorial services for Mrs. Tucker will be held at a later date.
