Josephine M. Dixon passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the age of 85.  The greatest joy in Josephine's life was her family, and her greatest strength was her faith in God.  She often spoke fondly of the memories she held of the time spent in El Tabernaculo Church, where her mother taught Sunday school, and Josephine later played piano in Sunday services.

Later in life, her faith became a source of strength as she found herself the mother of sons who required special care.  She became fiercely protective, and dedicated herself to nurturing and protecting them, and they became a blessing to her, and her greatest joy in life.

Ultimately, the manner in which she lived her life can be taken as an inspiration to all parents of special needs children.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Libertad Villalobos and Raymond Tagle Rodriguez, Jr.  and is survived by her children, Janet Dixon, Herbert Dixon III, David Dixon, and sister, Linda Cortez.
