John Christian Schoenmakers, Sr., age 63, was called to Heaven on July 16, 2018 in his home.

John is survived by his wife, Sharon Moreno Ahrens, and sons, John, Jr., Sean, and Scott, as well as 3 loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Isabel and Jan Schoenmakers; sisters, Mary Elizabeth, Dorothy, and Julie and brothers, James and Robert, survive him, along with their children.

John attended St. Joseph Catholic High School in Brownsville, Texas, but spent most of his life in San Antonio. He was a man of faith and family and will be truly missed.
