John Santos Alvarado, a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin, partner, and grandfather, died peacefully in the early hours of January 17, 2016 at the age of 55. John is survived by his daughter, Alexis Martinez and husband Joel and niece, Crystal Alvarado; his granddaughters Megan, MacKenzie, and Madison; his brother Gerald Alvarado Sr., and sister Mary Lammens; his niece Lauren Lammens; his nephews Gerald Alvarado Jr., Mark Alvarado, Kenny Alvarado, Ray Alvarado, Eric Alvarado, Gary Alvarado, John Ross Alvarado and Robbie Lammens. He was preceded in death by his sister and best friend Irma Jean Alvarado, father Santos Alvarado, and mother Elvira Longoria Alvarado.
John was most known for his mesmerizing smile, the love he had for his family and friends and his passion for cooking and baking. Most had the pleasure of hearing his greeting "Hi, Little One" while knowing a laugh or two were to follow with an amazing conversation you never wanted to leave. Life seemed to be just that much more amazing with his presence, and you know he felt the same about you. Our family Motto, 'Live Well, Love Much, and Laugh Often' is how he will be remembered. He will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him.
