Mr. Joe J. Gonzales age 83 of San Antonio passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016. Mr. Gonzales was preceded in death by his wife Hortensia Mora Gonzales; siblings Vicente Gonzales, Nena Ortega, and Mary Devora Vives.

He is survived by his children, David M. Gonzales, Steve M. Gonzales, and Cynthia Albright (Doug); siblings, Lola Kieke, Chavela Gonzales (Santiago), Elida Flores (Poncho), Lupe Maguire, George Gonzales (Alice); brother-in-law Joe C. Mora (Julia); sisters-in-law, Annie Mora and Yolanda C. Mora; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joe loved his dogs, and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, June 22, at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, June 23, at 9:00 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
