Jesse Wong, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Live Oak, TX. He was born on June 30, 1955 in San Antonio, TX to Pete Wong and Ella Fuu.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Angelita (Angel) Wong, two daughters, Mariana and Elisa Wong, two sisters, Ella Rusinko and Rose Mary Green, one brother, William Wong, six nephews, Chris and David Rusinko, Peter and Patrick Garcia, Clint and Joshua Wong, one great niece, Julia Garcia, and numerous cousins.

Jesse graduated from Central Catholic High School and earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Trinity University. He worked as a National Bank Examiner for the U.S. Treasury in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for 27 plus years before retiring in 2010. Three years later, Jesse unretired himself and joined USAA for a few years, then moved on to consulting for RGP before leaving the workforce again.

Aside from his exemplary career, Jesse valued his family and friends above all else. Though he was a man of few words, he showed his love through his actions – he was always there for everyone. His humor and wit brought life and laughter to all those around him. Jesse also had a passion for antiques, collectibles, and all things Snoopy. He had a talent in seeing the value in what others would normally overlook. He was a great man and will be dearly missed.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin at 5pm on Monday, January 7th, with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, at

The Angelus Funeral Home.

At 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 8th, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at

St. Monica Catholic Church

with interment to follow at the Bueche Cemetery.
