Obituary

Jesse Tijerina, born on December 25, 1922, passed away on January 24, 2021, in San Antonio, TX.  Jesse was a husband, father, brother and grandfather to a loving family and a patriot to a loving country.

He was, is and will forever be a part of the "Greatest Generation" and a man, of which few were made.  Jesse entered the Army Air Corp in 1939 and flew many missions during WWII, Korean Conflict, the Cold War and Vietnam retiring as a Master Sargent.

After his many years of service to his country, Jesse enjoyed a successful sales career in the automobile industry, where he thrived in negotiating deals for several auto parts distributors, impacting people and products throughout the US, as well as internationally.

Outside of work and family, Jesse could be found on the golf course with friends.  Jesse spent many days chasing his passion and in fact, although legally blind, continued to hit a straight drive up until his 95 th year.

Jesse was preceded in death by his loving wife Opal June, son, Jeffered, and leaves behind four children Carol Ann, Jesse "Buzz" Deborah and Christine "Crissy".

Due to COVID: Graveside service with military honors, will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery for immediate family only.
