Mr. Jesse Garza Fernandez age 91 of San Antonio passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016. Mr. Fernandez was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during World War II. He retired from Kelly Air Force Base with 56 years of combined military and civil service. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church since 1965. The church and military were very important parts of his life.

Mr. Fernandez is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dionisia; children: Carlos and wife Susan, Ruben, Laura and husband Wayne; sister, Dolores and husband John; grandchildren: Jennifer, Leslie, Stephen and Christina; great-grandchildren: Carly, Dakota and Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be offered Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in the Holy Cross Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow with military honors.
