Jerry Edward Zaragoza was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, cherished son and brother, and a faithful servant of Christ. He dedicated his life to his family, his church, and serving the Lord with a humble and giving heart.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia Zaragoza of 44 years; his children, Stephanie Zaragoza (Alex) and Randy Zaragoza (Briana); and his treasured grandchildren, Amiri and Brynlee, who brought him immense joy and pride. He is also survived by his mother, Carmen Zaragoza; his mother-in-law, Lupe Soto; his siblings, Gilbert Zaragoza (Blanche), Danny Zaragoza (Maryann), Roland Zaragoza, and Norma Zaragoza; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who loved him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Zaragoza Sr.; his nephew, Justin Perez; his father-in-law, Joe Soto; and his brother-in-law, Michael Soto.
Jerry found great happiness in serving the Lord and being active in his church. He spent many years working alongside his brother Gilbert in the air conditioning and heating business, work he took pride in and truly enjoyed. He loved making memories with his wife, children, and precious
grandchildren. Whether he was working on his house and yard, admiring classic cars, listening to Elvis Presley, watching western movies, fishing, doing carpentry, cheering on the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys, or making everyone laugh with his jokes, Jerry brought warmth and
joy wherever he went.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. — Proverbs 3:5-6
