Janine, age 89 of San Antonio, died on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. She was born in Valleroy le sec, France on December 20, 1925. She met Sergio in Vittel, France during WWII and became his beautiful bride on September 18, 1945. Janine came to the States in 1946 to live with her husband and his family in San Antonio, Texas. Sergio and Janine were lifetime members of the Alliance Francaise and devoted catholic members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Gerard's Catholic Church both in San Antonio. Janine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Sergio; daughters, Annette and Catherine; parents, Alfred and Genevieve Rollot; brothers, Roger, Jacques, Rene, Pierre, Lucien, and Jean-Marie; sisters, Yvonne, Yvonne, and Jacqueline. She is survived by her children, Jack (Mary) Velasquez, Diana (Harold) Leonard, Pete (Joyce) Velasquez, Theresa (Daniel) Power, Ginette (Steve) Ramirez, Paul (Stephanie) Velasquez, Rene (Lisa) Velasquez, and Suzette (Billy) Harris; sister, Ginette Morel; brother, Yvon Rollot; 27 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICES Visitation will begin on Sunday, August 16, at 4:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, August 17, at 12:30 PM at St. Gerard's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
