Jack B. Sims, 92, passed away October 25, 2022. He was born April 7, 1930 in San Antonio to John C. Sims and Mary T. Sims. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 56 years, Dorothy Beck Sims, his parents and brothers, John, Patrick, James and Lewis. He is survived by his brother, Robert (Kay) Sims and many nieces and nephews.

Jack graduated from Central Catholic High School (1947). He obtained his BBA and JD degrees from St. Mary's University (1953). He was appointed Judge of the 131st District Court in 1980 and practiced law for more than 60 years. He was a member of the San Antonio and Texas Bar Associations. He was generous with his time, serving on committees with the local, state and national Republican Party. He initially served as Precinct Chairman (163) for the Eisenhower Campaign. He also devoted many hours to various organizations including, San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association (3 years as President), Board of Trustee's St. Benedict's Hospital, Order of Alhambra (2 years Supreme Advocate), Knights of Columbus, San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and Knife and Fork Club of San Antonio.

The services will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022

Rosary - 10:30 am

Funeral Mass – 11:00 am

followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery
