Mrs. Isabel V. Guajardo age 96 of San Antonio, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

Isabel grew up attending Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on the West Side.  She was a nurse at downtown Baptist for many years.  Isabel and her husband, Roy, got married after his return from WWII.  Together, they were active members at St. Leo's Catholic Church.  After 50 years of marriage, they renewed their vows at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Isabel was a loving, and devoted wife and mother.  She was also an active member of the community, Legion of Mary, Guadalupanas and was a Eucharistic Minister serving the home-bound.

Isabel was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy C. Guajardo.  She is survived by her children: Roy Guajardo Jr. and wife, Karen, Robert Guajardo and wife, Elvira, Ronald Jack Guajardo, Gerard Guajardo and wife, Maria, and Jeffrey Guajardo; sister, Carolina Zapata; brother, Andrew Villarreal; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin

Tuesday, May 8th at 5:00 P.M.

in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be offered

Wednesday, May 9th at 9:30 AM

at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church

1321 El Paso St.

Interment will follow at

Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery
