Isaac Ramirez age 79 of San Antonio passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025.

Mr. Ramirez proudly served in the U.S. Army, serving in Korea during Vietnam. He was employed with Standard Aero for 10 years and retired from Kelly Air Force Base after 36 years of service.  Isaac loved fishing, caring for his lawn and pond, spending time with his family, playing with his grandson Nico and spoiling his dog, Lola.

Isaac was preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Louis Gomez; step-son, Gregory Garcia; and is survived by his wife, Margie Ramirez; children, Lori Castillo (Jimmy), Isaac Ramirez, Jr. (Emily), Amy Solano (Robert); grandchildren, Robert Anthony, Isaac Louis, Steven, Jordyn Garcia, Nicolas Castillo; great-grandchild, Dante; along with his siblings, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, December 14th at 4:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00pm at the Angelus Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, December 15th at 12:00pm at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
