Irma V. Casio's Obituary
Irma V. Casio went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2018… but not before she fought like a champ for 11 years and 7 months. Cancer did NOTHING to diminish the lasting impact of the unending love and devotion, she showered on her family. Her continual embrace, boundless optimism and reassuring words provide a sense of security that can only come from unconditional love and faith. Her self-sacrifice continues to serve as a model for her children and grandchildren.
Irma went to Heaven to be with her father Yldefonso Vasquez, mother Sara Vasquez and her brother-in-law Efrain L. Davis. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her loving husband of 29 years Fred Casio; children, Valerie (Antonio), Cynthia (Jason), Jonathan & Clarissa (Armando); grandchildren; Joseph, Steven, Elise & Emma; siblings; Sofia (Phillip), Elsa, Sandra (Oscar), Elizabeth (Paul), Mark (Liz), Yldefonso Jr (Kathy), Leticia and countless nieces and nephews. She took a piece of each and every one of them in her heart when she went to Heaven.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The START Center for Cancer Care.
Visitation Monday, July 30th at 5:00pm in The Angelus Chapel with a Celebration of Life at 7:00pm. Funeral service Tuesday, July 31st at 11:00 A.M. at Laurel Heights United Methodist Church. Interment at San Fernando Cemetery No.3.
