Iris Lynn Ortega, 34, of San Antonio, died at 5:40pm Monday March 30, 2015, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in San Antonio, Texas. Iris was born on January 22, 1981 in San Antonio, Texas to Juanita P. Barrera and Robert Franco Sr. She is survived by her Mother and Father, two daughters Kaitlyn R. and Kamryn D. Ortega; two Brothers Robert Franco Jr. and Justin Tabib, 8 Aunts, 3 Uncles and many cousins. Iris was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas where she attended Oliver Wendell Holmes High School and became a certified Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist. Iris deeply loved and cared for her family. Iris greatly enjoyed hosting family gatherings spending time with and cooking for all of her family, friends and loved ones. She was an amazing young woman, a devoted affectionate caring mother, daughter and sister. Her benevolence to all, huge loving heart and incredible generosity leaves a lifelong lasting memory in all of our hearts. FUNERAL SERVICES Visitation will be begin on Thursday April 9, 2015 at 5pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, April 10, at 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 617 S Santa Rosa Ave, San Antonio, TX 78204. Services will conclude at the church.
