Inez "Nechi" Provencio Armendariz of San Antonio, Texas passed from this life on November 29, 2018 at the age of 90.  She was born on January 23, 1928 to Abelina and Ramon Provencio in El Paso, Texas.

She is survived by her sister Terry Yanez and husband Ruben of El Paso, Texas; and her brother Francisco Provencio, also of El Paso, Texas  She leaves behind the legacy of her children Irene Subia and husband Willie of San Antonio, Texas; Peter Armendariz and wife Frances of San Antonio, Texas; Martha Tarango and husband David of Woodway, Texas; Fernando Armendariz and wife Sandra of El Paso Texas; Gilbert Armendariz and wife Leticia of San Antonio, Texas and David Armendariz and wife Theresa of San Antonio, Texas.  She was a devoted grandmother to her 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.  In addition to her beloved family, she is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as countless loving friends and neighbors.

Nechi was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Armendariz; parents, Abelina and Ramon Provencio; sister, Lydia Provencio and her brother Raul Provencio.
