Henrietta Zavala born July 15, 1922 in Waelder, Texas passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025.  She was preceded in death by parents Genaro and Margarita Castillo, husband Ramon Barrera, son Javier Barrera, and other family members and close friends.

She is survived by her cousin Sylvia Gonzalez (Greg, Greg Jr., Mario, Mario Jr., Jazlyn and Joseph and Marisol), niece Estella Hill (Doug, Ryan, Valarie, Tannon, Tivy, Valleau and Sara), Joe Gonzalez (Mercedes), and other distant relatives and friends.

She absolutely lived an abundant life for 102 years with a positive spirit and unwavering faith. She will be missed dearly.
