Guadalupe Ramirez, 95, died peacefully on March 19th at her son's home (Alfred) in Shady Shores, Texas.
Guadalupe was born on February 17, 1926 in San Pedro, Texas to Jose Balli and Concepcion Naranjo. She married Ramiro Ramirez on August 7, 1944. They raised four sons and one daughter. They lived in Austin while her husband acquired his Pharmacy degree then moved to San Antonio where they raised their family.
Her family paid this tribute: Mom was a kind, loving and generous person. She taught us to pray. She was a spirited and active person who always played with her grandchildren and made them laugh. Her spiritual view allowed her to see the good in everyone and always left others feeling optimistic. What a wonderful person! We were so fortunate to have kind and loving parents that made sacrifices to provide us with a good education and taught and encouraged us to pray. We love you Mom and Dad. We will keep you in our prayers as we know you will keep us in yours.
Guadalupe is survived by her daughter, Cindy and husband Bobby, her sons, Eddie and wife Anna, Robert and wife Dora, and Alfred and wife Janet. She had 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramiro; son, Ray, and grandson, Jason.
