Mrs. Graciela Soto Hurtado age 68 of San Antonio, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Graciela was born on January 14, 1949 in San Antonio, TX.

She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1967. She was an accomplished flamenco dancer who performed with The Juan Casados dance group at The Arneson River Theater. Through the years she worked for MALDEF, Channel 12 News and the special education department at San Antonio Independent School District. One of her lifelong passions was spreading her love and kindness to children with special needs. Her other lifelong passion was collecting antiques and fleamarketing.

Mrs. Hurtado was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Juanita Soto her brothers, Joe, Roy, Edward and George and her sister Gloria.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Celso Hurtado; children, Monica Viera (Marcos), Celso Hurtado, Jr. (Lynda), Ramona Hurtado (Patrick) Emiliano Hurtado, Leonardo Hurtado (Rachelle), Hayden Hurtado; grandchildren, Mathew, Myles, Makenna, Graciela, and Adelynn; sisters, Elena Castillo (Pat), Sylvia Hernandez (Jorge); brother, Richard Soto (Lupe); numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 27, at 6:00 P.M.
with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel.
