Gloria Ybarra born August 2, 1926 in San Antonio, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the age of 87. She was a civil servant for many years at Kelly Air Force Base and had many friends at SACU. She is survived by her children: Richard R. Encino, Jr., (preceded in death by his wife, Esther Encino), Rebecca E. Sanchez, Ruben S. Encino and daughter-in-law, Ernestine, Gina Valle and son-in-law, Panther Valle, and Antonio Almaraz; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin Thursday at 5:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be offered Friday at 9:30 A.M. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2.
