Gloria V. Gonzales, age 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2017.  She was born August 19, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas.  Gloria graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1964 and worked for Kelly Air Force Base for 35 years as a distribution clerk.  Gloria loved life to the fullest through simply pleasures; shopping, eating, spending time with family, and most of all enjoying her grandsons.  She was an extremely kindhearted person who thought of others always.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Augustine Sr. and Esther Vaca; and her sister, Yolanda Alvarado.  She is survived by her son, Joe and his wife, Lily; beloved "pollitos", Buzzy and Justin Gonzales; brothers, Augustine, George, and Humberto Vaca; and sisters, Mary and Sylvia.  She will be dearly missed.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin Tuesday, December 12, at 5:00 PM with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 13, at 12:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel.  Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park.
