Gloria Y. Flores, age 87, of San Antonio, Tx. entered into rest and went to be with our Lord Sunday, April 26, 2015. Mrs. Flores had a career in the meat packing industry working for Swift & Company, Deckers, and Rogelein. Gloria was an avid bowler and superior tamale consummate. She was preceded in death by her husband Hector G. Flores Sr.; parents Manuel & Cruz Yglesias; brothers Manuel, Alex, and Gilbert Yglesias; sister Esther Hernandez. Gloria is survived by her brother Peter McGinley; children: Louis Castillo (Olga), Armando Castillo (Veronica), Arthur Castillo (Dolores), Rebecca A. Flores, Hector G. Flores Jr. (Richard Ewing); sisters-in-law: Olga Yglesias, Mona Yglesias, Rose Backhaus, Sylvia White (Joe), Emily Votion; brother-in-law, Raul Flores (Amalia); 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and dear friends. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in The Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No. 2.
