Gladys Puerto Guido, age 91 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. She was born June 17, 1930 in Merida, Yucatán, Mexico.  She moved to California with her family at an early age, they later settled in San Antonio where she met Adolph, the love of her life. Gladys was a loving, caring mother who possessed a strong but gentle demeanor. She was ever supportive of her husband and children.  She will always be remembered for her beautiful, engaging smile.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Adolph Guido; parents: Humberto and Hilda Puerto; sister, Betty Rodriguez. She is survived by daughters: Georgina Bellanger (Barry), Tessie Villarreal (Art); grandchildren: Jarod Bellanger (Amy), Justin Villarreal (Kendra), Amanda Bellanger (Matt), Aaron Villarreal; great-grandchildren: Bree and Jace Bellanger; sister, Hilda Millet of Yucatan; sister-in-law, Dolores Rizzo (Louie); many loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Village of Incarnate Word Angelique House, Sisters Care and St. Gabriel's Hospice for all the love and support through the years.

MEMORIAL SERVICES

Memorial Mass will be offered Monday, July 26, 2021 at

12:30 P.M.

San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church

Inurnment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
