Gilbert Garcia Jr., age 69, died peacefully in his home on Saturday, October 15, 2016.  A veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he received a National Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and an Army Good Conduct Medal.

Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents; Gilberto and Elena Garcia, brother; Samuel V. Garcia.  He is survived by wife; Leticia Garcia, son and daughter-in-law; Gilbert and Arlene Garcia, daughter and son-in-law; Mary and Raul Mena, grandchildren; Gilbert Garcia IV, Marlene Garcia, Emily Garcia, Megan Alexis Mena, and Lorena Alyssa Mena, sisters; Rosalicia Medrano and Mary Helen Dominguez, brothers; Jose Victor Vecera and Enrique Garcia.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 19th at 9:00 A.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 11:00 A.M. with a Funeral Service to follow immediately after the Rosary.  Interment will then follow at San Fernando Cemetery No.3 with military honors.
