George Poe Jr. (Jim) passed away at home at the age of 80 on January 4, 2018 with his family by his side.  He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 30, 1937.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Isabel Poe.

George is survived by his lovely wife of 52 years, Stella Poe; his sister, Molly (Eva) Mendiola; his brother Harry wife, Elizabeth Poe; his daughters, Maylin Poe Gonzales husband, Jesse Gonzales, youngest daughter, Cindy Poe wife, Gloria Poe, Kathy Rodriguez husband, Clark Rodriguez, and Debra Poe; sons, George Poe III and Jerry Poe; granddaughters, Nadine, Kayleen, Skyleen Gonzales, Evy Jimenez and Amy Rodriguez; grandson, Jesse Gonzales; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; with a very close niece, DIANE CRUZ.

Pallbearers:  son-in-law, Jesse Gonzales, grandson, Jesse Gonzales, nephews, Christopher Mendiola and Michael Juarez; great nephews, Fabian Cruz and Faustino Cruz, followed by daughter Cindy Poe and grandson in law, Noel Fox

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 11, at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, January 12, at 12:30 P.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
