Mr. George A. Perez age 72 of San Antonio TX passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

George graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 1972 then proudly served and retired as a Petty Officer 1st class from the United States Navy after serving 21 years.  Following his Navy career, he graduated from St. Mary's University; he also worked and retired from the Texas Department of Corrections. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus serving his church and community.

He loved the United States NAVY and his country, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelo and Janie Perez; sisters, Velia Hunt and Amada Perez.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Hope Perez; sons, George Alex Perez, Jr. and wife Jackie Perez, Paul Simon Perez and wife Veronica Perez; grandchildren, Romeanthony Perez, Jessica Perez, and Ava Perez; brothers, Marcelo, Jesse, Robert, and Michael Perez; and numerous extended family members and friends.
