Francisco (Frank) Espino born March 9, 1932, died on September 10, 2019 in Austin, Texas.  Frank began working at the age of 6, selling newspapers and helping his grandfather with his shoe repair business.  At the age of 17, he joined the US Air Force and retired in 1972 to San Antonio after 21 years of service.  He worked jewelry sales for a period and fully retired in the late 90's.  In recent years he and Isabel moved to Austin to be closer to their beloved family.  Frank was very proud of his grandchildren and adored his great grandchildren.  He was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs.  Francisco was preceded in death by his cousins, Cruz (Ray) and Fred Gutierrez.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Isabel Espino; his daughter, Margie; sons, Frank and Robert.  Francisco is blessed to have 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, September 18, at 6:00 PM in the Angelus Chapel with the Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM.  Funeral mass will be offered on Thursday, September 19, at 9:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.  In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Francisco.
