Mrs. Florence Lerma age 84 of San Antonio passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015. She was born in Elmendorf, Texas to Sixto and Trinidad Cardenas. She was married to Fred Lerma until his death in 1995. She spent her career in healthcare, working in labor and delivery, which brought her great joy. She was very passionate about her work. She enjoyed traveling and experiencing new things. Florence was a wonderful wife, mother and mother-in-law and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her only son Robert and his wife Missy of Spring, Texas; her sister-in-law Mary Lerma of San Antonio; her close family friend and trusted caregiver, Elsa Aguirre of San Antonio and numerous relatives and friends. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 5:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Graveside Service and Interment will be held Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2
