Felicitas, age 88, was born in La Lagunita, Zacatecas, Mexico. She left for San Antonio to help care for her cousin's young children where she became known as "Yaya," an endearing nickname that remained with her the rest of her life. She worked as a seamstress for 35 years. Felicitas was a very loving and nurturing person who always put others needs before her. Although never married, she became an integral member of a family whom she lived with her whole life. She became a motherly figure to her niece and nephews then becoming a grandmother figure to their children. She is preceded in death by her parents and survived by family members; Antonia, Esterlina, James, Christopher, and Emily; lovingly helped raise Guadalupe Miguel, Guadalupe IV, Hope and their children, Rachel, Analisa, Adan, Mirabella and Cordero. She will live forever in our hearts. Visitation will begin on Monday at 4:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 3.
