Eudelia (Elia) Hernandez Sanchez passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at the age of 85.

Elia was the daughter of Juan and Elisa Hernandez and was blessed with 6 sisters and 3 brothers.  Elia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She had a big heart and never hesitated to care for her loved ones in their time of need.  She was a hard worker and always made sure her children were well provided for.  Elia was married to Nicolas (Nico) Sanchez, who passed away on April 10, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Nicky Sanchez.  She is survived by her children, Nick Sanchez, David Sanchez and Joann Sanchez; and grandchildren Joshua Sanchez, Jackie Sanchez, Gloria Sanchez and Gabriela Singleton (Dillon).  Her brothers and sisters include, Dolores (Chita), Alexandro (Chato), Eloisa (Nena), Juan (Hito), Santana (Neno), Olga, Elisa (Lecha), Oralia (Lala), and Linda.

Elia will be truly missed not only her family members but by many friends she was blessed to have known.  We know she is rejoicing in heaven with her husband and her siblings.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, June 1st at 6:00 p.m.

with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Angelus Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, June 2nd at 10:30 a.m.

at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine located at 1321 El Paso Street.

Interment will follow at

San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
