Esther O. Lozano born February 25, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the age of 75.

Esther graduated from Providence High School in 1960. She worked as the first receptionist for the Cancer Therapy and Research Center and went on to work in the oncology field as a receptionist and office manager for over 30 years. She retired in 2006 after working for Dr. Kathleen Halka for over 10 years. She had a tremendous amount of support from her numerous friends at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church where she volunteered, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Divine Mercy and numerous other church organizations.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Jovita Ortiz. She is survived by her sons: Khail, Dan (Melissa) and Robert Lozano (Lynn); grandchildren: Jessica, Jonathan, Robert Jr. and Lauren Lozano; brothers: Pete Ortiz (Gloria) and Rick Ortiz; nieces and nephews: Roxanne, Debra, Esther Ortiz, Ericka McCoy, Edward, Charles, A.J. and Elizabeth Lozano.

MEMORIAL SERVICES

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 9th beginning at 5:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Memorial Mass will be offered Tuesday, May 10th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2.
