Ernest Jesse Guerrero, Sr. passed away peacefully on March 2, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas.  He was born August 22, 1930 in San Antonio.  Ernest, known to most as "Jesse", met his loving wife of 53 years, Rosie Sanchez Guerrero at Irving Middle School and both attended Fox Tech High School.  Ernest served in the US Army before becoming a draftsman for Tobin Aerial Surveys for over 25 years.  He and Rosie had four children, Anna M. Perez, Ernest J. Guerrero, Jr., Angelita Wong, and Wendy M. Guerrero; and three grandchildren, Juan Jesus "JJ" Perez, Elisa M. Wong, and Mariana C. Wong.  He loved camping, fishing, and making people laugh.  He also loved being "grandpa" and going to their celebrations, events and games.

He was preceded in death by wife, Rosie Guerrero, uncle, Ygnacio Fuentes, mother, Isidra Ruedas Guerrero, father, Jose N. Guerrero, and nine siblings.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, March 30th at 5:00 PM with the Rosary at 6:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel. Mass is Wednesday, March 31st, at 11:00 AM, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. A private interment is at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on April 2nd.
